Awesome Smartphone Clamp – The Piggy Back

What is the PiggyBack?

You know those adjustable clamps you have in your shed? Well, the PiggyBack is an ingenious device which utilises your adjustable clamp to hold your Smart Phone or GoPro nice and steady. It’s a bit like a tripod, only more flexible.

The PiggyBack is a support system for cameras, iPhones and GoPros built around a typical hardware store beam-clamp. A chap by the name of Erik Haugaard is looking for support on his Kickstarter campaign to get it up and running.

On this link, you can see demonstrations showing how flexible this phone clamp / GoPro clamp is. It does lots of things that other camera clamps cannot, and I can’t wait to get my hands on one.

The PiggyBack clamp is a fresh design, very innovative and versatile. I love flexible phone mounts and have quite a few of my own. And this mount is so versatile that it will adapt to whatever size claps you keep in your garage. Ideal for using your GoPro or iPhone as a vlogging camera. Because now you can clamp your video camera on to practically anything.

Best of all, the adjustable clamps from the hardware are probably my favourite tools. I’ve got quite a few of these universal clamps in my garage so that the PiggyBack will be perfect for me.
